Types of services: Crushing, grinding, mineral separatiom, epoxy mounting
The Geological Sample Preparation Laboratory encompass a set of technicques. It primarily includes:
(i) crushing and grinding of rocks;
(ii) mineral separation and
(iii) epoxy mounting.
The samples are commonly analized in the other laboratories of the Multiuser Facility. During crushing and grinding, rocks are sprayed at specific granulometry. Mineral separation can include distinct stages in the laboratory.
